  Notes At the national level, Quentrel’s 2009 performances have begun to establish him as one of the most versatile 14 year-old elite sprinters in US (able to turn in Top 15 performances in the 100, 200 & 400 meter dash events). At the state level, Quentrel’s 2009 performances at the TAAF state meet were likely unprecedented: becoming a Gold Medalist in 4 different events while setting a state record in one of them. His 2009 Long Jumps at the state meet have established him as one of Texas’ Top 4 14 year-old long jumpers. Quentrel is also a highly-regarded football and basketball player.
