Collegiate Track

Stampede Track Club encourages all young athletes to set high goals in sports, and to pursue those goals aggressively (while pursuing their academic goals equally aggressively). Generally speaking, however, only those athletes that are among the top performers in their particular events nationally are likely to have a realistic chance to compete in collegiate track. Through its extensive direct and indirect network of collegiate coach relationships, Stampede will seek out opportunities to compete collegiately for its members that are among the top performers.

Of course, top-performing members will have to do their part to make themselves otherwise attractive to collegiate track programs by meeting NCAA eligibility requirements, satisfying the admissions requirements (with adequate GPA, class rank and SAT/ACT score), conducting themselves properly, demonstrating themselves to be “coachable”, etc.

Stampede Track Club believes that there are very good reasons for those athletes that are not among the top national performers to compete in youth track & field. Those athletes will still benefit greatly from having competed in youth track & field if they apply the things learned to their pursuit of other life goals.
